As this centre has developed facilities for recycling, incentive pricing is offered to those who sort their loads.Differential pricing applies to segregated loads of:household recyclables (paper and cardboard, plastic bottles, glass bottles, aluminium cans, vehicle batteries, engine oil - max 20 litres); vegetation, logs, concrete, roof tiles, brick, asphalt, cleanfill, metal
Cars and utes/trailers, under 1 tonne
Mixed waste loads and materials other than household recyclables or vegetation are charged as either a car or ute/trailer; at either resident or non-resident/contractor rates.Trailers or utes can be packed so mixed waste can be identified in a separate section of the vehicle when also delivering recyclables.
Utes or trailers with trays larger than 2m x 1.2m x 0.3m are charged as an oversize trailer.
Centre Attendant Collectors will request vehicle drivers to use the weighbridge service for loads estimated to be over 500kg of mixed waste or 370kg of vegetation.
Vehicles over 1 tonne
Larger vehicles are required to use the weighbridge system. This gives customers access to a variety of discounted charges. For example small size concrete under 500mm is approximately one-tenth the price of mixed waste and lightweight vegetation less than two-thirds the mixed waste charge.# Weighbridge users: don't forget to complete your transaction by stopping at Weighbridge 2 before you exit the site.
