As we recently advised, Kimbriki and Australian Native Landscapes are currently upgrading the vegetation processing area at Kimbriki and installing a new aeration system.
The new AERO-SORB Platform is active and operational, and all vegetation shredded since 19 September has been placed onto the Platform.
The movement of the existing stockpiles of vegetation commenced last week. The size and scale of the existing stockpile is large, meaning that when it is moved to the AERO-SORB Platform, it will take some time and potentially have short-term odour impacts.
The stockpiles will continue to be moved on weekdays between now and November, and only under optimal weather conditions.
We thank the residents who contacted us in regards to odour over the past week. All notifications were acted on as soon as received. Monitoring was conducted immediately and the verified odour issues were conveyed to ANL.
