Fees and Charges

Kimbriki offers waste disposal and recycling services for a wide range of customers across many waste types. As a result there is a range of charges, please refer to the tables below for the charges that relate to your waste type.

Note: Any heavily laden vehicle or trailer will be sent to the weighbridge where weighbridge pricing charges will apply.

*Note: coloured tickets must be obtained from staff before unloading and presented to weighbridge 2 for discounted charges.

Charges include the NSW Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water (DECCW) Section 88 levy of $70.30 per tonne and 10% GST.

Definitions

Resident waste
Inert, mixed waste generated in a residence in Manly, Mosman, Pittwater or Warringah Council areas and transported by the resident.

Non-resident waste (accepted but not subsidised by your council)
Inert, mixed waste generated from outside Manly, Mosman, Pittwater or Warringah Council areas.

Household recyclables
Cardboard, paper, plasitic bottles, glass bottles,aluminium cans, car batteries, engine oil max 20 litres.

Resident free tipping
Free disposal of under 300kg of household recyclables and under 300kg of vegetation is only available to residents of Manly, Mosman, Pittwater or Warringah Councils. This must be transported by the resident – and proof of residency shown. Free resident recyclables and vegetation loads may only be delivered in a car, station wagon, standard box trailer or ute.

Vegetation limit of 300kg
Kimbriki staff will assess 300kg of vegetation as equivalent to a standard 1.8m x 1.2m x 0.3m box trailer loosely packed with vegetation (not logs) to a depth of one metre.

Car or station wagon loads
Not to exceed 60kg.

Standard box trailer
Limited to a single axle, 1.8m x 1.2m x 0.3m box trailer with load under 300kg. Any overloaded or heavily laden standard trailer or ute will be charged as oversized or referred to the weighbridge.

Oversized trailer
A double axle or modified single axle box trailer with extended sides registered for loads less than one tonne, or a heavily laden standard box trailer or ute:

Weighbridges
The weighbridges are for all vehicles and trailers registered to carry 1 tonne or more or any vehicle referred to the in and out weighbridges by Kimbriki staff. Any customer may nominate to use the weighbridges. Minimum charges apply. Kimbriki staff will direct customers to use the weighbridges for loads assessed to be over 500kg of inert, mixed waste or over 400kg of vegetation.

Mattresses
Vehicles carrying three or more mattresses are to use the weighbridge service and will be charged a special rate for mattress disposal.

Carpets
Vehicles carrying three or more domestic size carpets or a single roll of equivalent size are to use the weighbridge service. The mixed waste rate will apply.

Keep your receipt
Customers are to follow the direction of Kimbriki staff. Please ensure a receipt is obtained for any payment and that the receipt is available for inspection at all times. Receipt audits occur regularly on site.

Discounts
Kimbriki may be able to provide a discounted charges structure for repeat commercial customers of bulk loads. Contact us for more information.
