Kimbriki Environmental Enterprises Pty Ltd and MCELS Pty Ltd united on the 10th June, 2020 to officially open the next landfill cell at Kimbriki after independent verification of the integrity of the lining system. This fully engineered cell includes a composite lining system with leachate capture structures in accordance with the NSW EPA’s best practice requirements to ensures it minimises potential environmental impacts. Under construction since March 2019, the cell represents the latest step in the Kimbriki Site Master Plan which is designed to maximise the life and environmental security of the site.
